We use photogrammetry technology, which is extremely gentle on the scanned objects and is therefore also suitable for scanning sensitive objects such as objects of cultural heritage or collections. We scan on a devices that we developed ourselves and are constantly improving. Thanks to this, our 3D models not only have a detailed geometry, but above all a photorealistic texture.
You can send the products to be scanned to us at the address of the scanning studio or come in person by prior arrangement.
For larger projects, we have a solution that includes placing the scanning device directly at the customer place.
Several hundred photos are taken during the scanning process. These are then sent to the server where the 3D model including textures is reconstructed. We emphasize the maximum share of automation. The scanning process itself takes approximately 5 minutes. Thanks to this, we can also handle large quantities. And also at interesting prices.

We take special care to optimize data. So that 3D models can be displayed without problems even on older mobile devices. We deliver 3D models according to the customer’s specifications, standardly in modern formats glTF, USDZ, but also OBJ, FBX and others.
CONVERSION OF CAD DATA TO 3D MODEL FOR WEB / AR

Using CAD models is usually the most efficient way to create a 3D model for the web and AR. CAD models are intended for product manufacturing and cannot be displayed directly on the web or in AR, so this data must be converted first. Subsequently, it is necessary to optimize the data, for example, to remove the internal geometry that is not needed for visualization and to assign the correct material to the individual parts.
As standard, we convert CAD models from STEP or IGES format. But we can also deal with the native formats of CATIA, ProE Creo, SolidWorks and others. We understand that the security of CAD data is absolutely crucial. We convert both individual parts and entire assemblies into one 3D model. During the optimization process, we can remove the internal geometry from the CAD data. This will simplify the model by up to 70%.
We also need product photos to create materials, control labels and logos. Ideally in high definition.

A separate chapter is the possibility to animate the 3D model with animations. These are mainly used to provide the customer with additional information about the product or to familiarize him with the basic functions.
We optimize the data both for the number of polygons and for the total data size. We can therefore prepare models for AR according to the recommended specifications of Google and Apple. We deliver the models ready for immediate use. Standard in glTF, USDZ, but also OBJ or FBX.
3D MODELING

The level of detail has a major impact on the price of a 3D model. Even if the emphasis is on making the modeling process as efficient as possible, it is a time and money consuming process. The emphasis is therefore on preserving the visual side of the product at an affordable price. We pay attention to the details that the end customer is most interested in.
We use “smart models” to create 3D models, which help us reduce the cost of creating different product variants. For example, the different height of the refrigerator or the diagonal of the television. The resulting price of 3D models for the entire product line can thus drop significantly.
We create 3D models based on the supplied product photos. Those from basic views are ideal. To create labels for controls and labels, we need product photos, preferably in high resolution.
In order for the 3D model to have the correct dimensions in augmented reality, we only need the basic dimensions of the product W x H x D
